Ranco blenders come in configurations from 5 to 300+ tons per hour continuous throughput. They are based on a proven volumetric concept that is very accurate. The system consists of individual bins for each product which meter different volumes of product into a blend auger. The auger blends the products together while transporting them to the load-out equipment. The bins and blend auger u-trough feature fiberglass construction for longevity in corrosive conditions. There are many options available so the system can be designed to fit each company’s specific application. To complement the blender there are micro-nutrient bins, super sac systems, and impregnation systems. These items can be included with the base system or added at sometime in the future.
The Ranco tank system is an innovative way to store and blend fertilizer. It consists of an array of large tanks under which Ranco meter units and blend auger are placed. The meter units draw directly from the storage tanks, so no end loader is needed on site. This system is compact and has a smaller footprint than a comparable flat storage system. This system has also been combined with large storage facilities to make very high capacity blend plants.
Ranco sand blenders produce a superior product that is consistent and accurate throughout the blend. They are ideal for preparing topsoil for golf courses at rates of up to 200 tons/hour. The blenders can be designed as portable units by being placed on a trailer with a generator set as part of the system.
Bucket elevators available from Ranco range in capacities from 10 TPH to 1000 TPH. Materials available are mild steel, stainless steel, and fiberglass for construction of casing and other accessories.
Ranco conveyors utilize UHMW slider bed construction, eliminating rollers, for long life and high durability. They come in sizes up to 400 tons/hour. Other conveyor models are available to move up to 1000 TPH. Conveyors can be configured for load-out, truck and rail unloading, overbin with tripper or flinger, portable, and transfer applications.
Drag chain conveyors come in capacities up to 100 tons/hour. They utilize a stainless steel web chain to convey material and feature stainless steel construction. Stationary and portable units are available. The stationary units are designed to be self-regulating.
The Ranco u-trough auger is constructed of a fiberglass u-trough with a stainless steel overhead support channel. The mild steel auger is supported above the u-trough by hanger bearings, so the product is never damaged. The auger may be used as a receiving unit, a transfer unit, an overbin unit or an overroof unit. The augers are available in capacities from 40-300 tons per hour and are powered by three phase motors and gear reducer drives. The u-troughs may also be constructed of stainless or mild steel.
The overroof unit utilizes a fiberglass dump chute to fill each storage bay. The chute extends through the roof and is sealed with fiberglass sealing plates. Each dump chute features a manual slide gate or a manual or electric rack and pinion gate, which may be constructed of stainless steel.
The Ranco rotary screener contains a 43" diameter drum that is 10' long. It is powered by a three phase motor and gear reducer drive. The rotating action of the screener assists the angle of the unit to move product from the inlet to the outlet. The undesirable product is separated from the desirable product and is discharged into a holding container located at ground level. The screen is of 304 stainless steel. The drum and enclosure are constructed of mild or stainless steel and fiberglass. The capacity of the unit is determined by the amount of undesirable material removed.
Ranco offers overhead weigh hoppers in sizes from 10 to 25 tons. Other sizes are available upon request. They have been NTEP certified to be legal for trade. These hoppers feature mild or stainless steel construction, electric or manual rack and pinion gates, and an epoxy primed wide flange beam support frame. We offer several indicators and ticket printers to suit your needs.
The Rancon 1634 conditioner is designed specifically for the fertilizer industry. The design permits easy side panel and screen removal for cleaning or changing of screen or bar grid.
The conditioner can be constructed of either mild or stainless steel. Its small size makes for a versatile unit.
The drag paddle conveyors come in several different styles and allow for horizontal, incline, or a combination of both directions of travel. They can be designed as rail or truck receiving units, horizontal or incline transfer units, or as overbin storage filling units. The enclosed design makes the paddle conveyors environmentally friendly and clean up a breeze. The UHMW paddles are pulled through the stainless steel housing by heavy duty open barrel pintle chain. You can select capacities up to 400 TPH.
Ranco car unloaders are very versatile yet economical. You can select from a single screw to a double screw for added capacity. The unique design lets you chose two lengths of horizontal pans, varying lengths for the incline auger and different degrees of incline.
The car unloader is a self-regulating unit and comes with several different transports to make either rail car or truck unloading an easier task.
